It's a topic close to my heart, having struggled with it for many years and experienced its impact. Adrenal Fatigue is an invisible epidemic, and its symptoms can manifest in various ways. You might have experienced weakness, energy depletion, or even feelings of depression. It can disrupt your sleep, leaving you feeling drained even after a full night's rest. For mothers, postpartum depression and fatigue are often linked to exhausted adrenals, something I've personally encountered in my journey.

Engaging in gentle exercises such as rebounding, yoga, and walking, which won't trigger adrenal surges, alongside establishing a regular meditation practice for much-needed restorative rest, plays a pivotal role in your healing process.

Strategies for Prevention:

Preventing adrenal fatigue is all about proactive measures like setting boundaries, practising self-love, prioritising self-care, and learning to say no. Ultimately, it's about honouring yourself at the highest level. This means putting your health and happiness first, recognising that it's not selfish to do so. Embracing a holistic approach to healing and adopting a slower, more balanced lifestyle are key.

We must veer away from the path of burnout and embrace the importance of honouring ourselves.
